[27 Dec 2009|10:38pm] keeperoffire [ mood | sleepy ] ok, aunt got the family a Wii parents got me $100 gift card to best buy friend Natalie made me a really awesome magnet and gave me candy friend Erica bought me this really awesome Pharaoh Atemu print at Anime Crossroads going to try tomorrow and hit up best buy for my own wii-mote--wii only came with one so we each have to get our own--and super smash brothers brawl. now that we have a wii, i can try and get the controller that looks like a game cube controller and start raiding disc replay and amazon.com for game cube games. why? because there's a rather large list of games i want for the game cube and now i can play them! list of games: LoZ: Windwaker LoZ: Phantom Hourglass--wii version sucks Baten Kaitos Baten Kaitos 2 Skies of Arcadia beyond brawl, the only wii games i really want....well....hm....not really any out right now i want...at least not that i can name off the top of my head anyway. must try and get Link to the Past downloaded onto the wii....as well as super mario brothers 3 and sonic 2!!! toil 'n' trouble

GO SEE AVATAR!!!!!! this movie is so badass i don't even know where to begin! james cameron, you and ten of Hollywood's best visual effects teams--yes, i counted them just to confirm what the guy at Area 51 FX said--have done one of the best damn jobs with regards to combining life action and 3D!!! i'm sure when the academy awards rolls around and you get the award, i don't care which company really gets the award for best visual effects--though WEDA did do the bulk of the stuff, with ILM right behind--so long as you folks get it! GAH! SO EXCITED FOR HAVING TO SEEN THIS MOVIE! TWO YEARS! TWO FUCKING YEARS SINCE I'VE HEARD OF THIS MOVIE AND IT WAS WELL WELL WORTH THE WAIT! yeah...i didn't see it in IMAX but it was just as awesome. besides, i doubt i have enough dramamine to keep from getting sick if i watched it in 3D v.v note: yes, i was doing what my lj icon is currently doing toil 'n' trouble

three weeks of freedom! [19 Dec 2009|11:57pm] keeperoffire [ mood | crappy ] quarter ended thursday night at 8:50 for yours truly. thank god too since my friend Erica decided to give not just me, but our friends Natalie, Lance, Brett, and Kelli-chan her cold last saturday at Natalie's birthday bash at Oishi (a pretty decent sushi bar on the east side). yep. best christmas present EVER! /sarcasm toil 'n' trouble

And perhaps an even greater sense of relief. I know he'll be okay. I am so grateful to have had him. We gave each other something to hope for when we both really needed it. And that's that.
